November 25 - "The Mousetrap" opened in theaters in London. Agatha Christie's play is the longest continuously running play in history.
November 26 - Franklin D. Roosevelt signs the bill officially designating the fourth Thursday in November as Thanksgiving Day.
November 27 - Macy's has it's very first Thanksgiving Day parade.
November 28 - William Shakespeare marries Anne Hathaway.
November 29 - Richard E. Byrd is the first person to fly over the south pole.
November 30 - Winston Churchill is born.
December 1 - During the cold war, Antarctica is declared a military free continent.
